UKAD

UKAD, or UK Anti-Doping, is the national body responsible for promoting clean sport in the United Kingdom. It was established to ensure that athletes competing in UK events adhere to anti-doping rules and regulations, promoting fair competition and the integrity of sport. UKAD works with various stakeholders, including athletes, coaches, sports organisations, and governments, to educate about the dangers of doping, conduct testing for banned substances, and enforce anti-doping policies. Its mission is to protect athletes’ right to compete in a doping-free environment and to support the integrity of sport at all levels.
