Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence processes by computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using it), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), and self-correction. AI can encompass a wide range of technologies and methodologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, and expert systems. The goal of AI is to create systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as understanding language, recognizing patterns, solving problems, and making decisions. AI can be categorized into two main types: narrow AI, which is designed for specific tasks (like voice assistants and image recognition), and general AI, which aims to perform any intellectual task that a human can do (this type remains largely theoretical at present). The development of AI raises important ethical and societal considerations, particularly regarding its impact on employment, privacy, and decision-making.
